Platform Engineer

This funded start-up company who are building a trusted health information platform for pharmaceutical companies are scaling, which means they have some fantastic opportunities for a Platform Engineer / Senior Developer!

They assemble data from real world data sources to help improve medical outcomes for patients and improve healthcare services. You will be making a good impact on peoples lives.

You will have over 6 years of SaaS development experience and will be extremely confident with Node, TypeScript and React, along with having had good exposure to REST, GraphQL and Cloud platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity to be a major contributor to architectural decisions and to build new versions for their incredible platform.

Role responsibilities of the Platform Engineer / Senior Developer:

  • Contribute to architectural decisions and implement them
  • Build out greenfield, dev, test, and production versions for their new platform
  • Research, prototype and recommend new technologies and frameworks
  • Learn and grow with the business

Skills / experience required of the Platform Engineer / Senior Developer:

  • Strong computer science or engineering fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, security and reliability
  • Strong SaaS platform design and build experience
  • Experience in a combination of Node, TypeScript, React, Python and Rust
  • Cloud knowledge (ideally Azure) and DevOps experience
