You will work 37.5 alongside a multidisciplinary team, where you'll provide person-centred care for people with a learning disability and/or Autism. Gaining experience across low secure and locked rehabilitation environments to support better health and greater independence.
With experience from the NHS or private sector, you'll have a natural way with people as you listen and support individuals with learning disabilities and autism in ensuring that their communication needs are assessed and supported with evidence-based interventions. You will design and deliver group and individual activities, assessments, interventions and treatments to support their care plans and promote recovery as they overcome communication and swallowing difficulties.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be supported regionally and will have access to a variety of training and online courses to support your career development and growth.
