I&BPT- Investment and Banking Product Technology (formerly known as I&BST Investment and Banking Solution Technology) team leads the design, and development of technologies that enable the delivery and servicing of products for the Retail, Preferred, Small Business, Merrill and Private Bank lines of business. Specifically, Banking products such as Deposits, Credit Cards, & Loans and Wealth Management products such as Investment, Advisory, Trust & Retirement.'
The Individual will be a part of I&BPT providing Mainframe based solutions to GWIM applications. He/she will act as a consultant to the projects by providing best practices and offering solution accelerators for the projects and collaborate with the delivery team.

Following established written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions.
Create technical specifications and test plans.
Provide Weekend/On Call support during application releases.
Should be able to work in shifts, if business demands

Ensuring adherence to development standards, best practices
Ensuring high quality levels in all deliverables
Adhere to team's governing principles and policies
Participate in mandatory training and cross functions across team

Act as a consultant during project engagements and bring value in every transactions
Education: Any Graduate
Certifications If Any:
Experience Range: 8 - 10 Years
Good experience in analysis and design.
Should be a hands on developer with experience of developing and testing components using mainframe technologies of COBOL, DB2, NSP, JCL, VSAM, Endevor, BMC Utilities, and SPUFI etc.
Good knowledge on development life cycle - both waterfall and agile.
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, and results driven.
Should be well versed with Agile Delivery model
Strong domain knowledge and product knowledge
Work independently - Require less oversight/assistance
Ensure processes are followed at all stages of Software Development Life Cycle
Participate/host calls independently with onshore/offshore team
Support SIT/UAT testing needs in QA environment
Help resolve ABENDS, issues in production and QA region and escalate as necessary.
Perform Adhoc tasks, and SIT support, as part of day to day activities. Work on small enhancements and fixes as requested by the Application Manager.
