Salesforce Service Cloud Voice is looking for a Senior/Lead Software engineer to join our team in India (Hyderabad or Bangalore). You will be working with a group of world-class engineers, architects and product managers to build the breakthrough features 's customers will love, adopt and use while keeping the application stable and scalable. You have a solid understanding of the MVC pattern, an obsession with commenting on your code, a natural tendency to self-test your code before calling it done and a knack for building a quality user experience. You'll be a part of a modern, lean, self-governing engineering team where you have the ability to switch hats between coding to features, to testing for quality, performance to accessibility to security. This team works on multiple stacks including Salesforce Core, AWS Amazon Connect & Salesforce's Real Time stack. We provide service agents and supervisors an immersive experience of telephony, CRM platform integration, real time and post-call transcription, and intelligent call insights and real-time recommendation within the Salesforce Lightning platform.
You must have a solid background in Java programming and an understanding of Javascript, SQL, CSS, SOAP XML, and HTML. You will be responsible for developing and through all phases of the front-end to the back-end development lifecycle. You will use your experience to work with team members to develop new application feature set, as well as, enhance existing code and framework. You should have a history of building successful Web-based solutions using Web Services and the ability to grasp a variety of unfamiliar technology and integrate them quickly.
This job requires that you be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to interact with other team members to deliver fast and reliable code. You will also be asked to contribute ideas and provide feedback on many projects within the team's portfolio.
Required Skills/Experience:
5+ years of experience in full-stack web-based software development

Leads feature development being delivered by multiple engineers.

Independently designs and delivers code for products and features.

Ability to process complex business rules and apply to evaluate inter-dependencies.

Provides oversight through code and design reviews for features delivered by other developers within their scrum team.

Backend design experience with Java and developing APIs.

Influences architecture, quality, product, and process beyond the immediate scrum team.

A subject matter expert for a technology or feature area.

Develop test plans and test automation for features and/or products.

Verifies the quality of the code delivered through manual and automated testing. Extends the automation framework where necessary.

Works closely with senior developers, Quality, PM, and UX to ensure their features are delivered to meet business and quality requirements.

Writes code for most areas of the product.

Troubleshoot production issues.

Bachelor's degree - ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS.
Desired Skills
Experience developing in an enterprise environment - source code control, continuous deployment, release management

Experience with AWS ecosystem, preferably with Amazon Connect and Lambda.

Experience with Real Time channels/stack.

Experience with microservices architecture

Knowledge and/or experience with Salesforce Lightning platform

Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology

Experience with Javascript frameworks such as Angular/React

Experience with Relational databases and SQL

Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, or other similar technologies

Experience developing on the platform & API's

Certifications in and/or Java

Experience with Selenium automation

Understanding of various user-based security models

Understanding of enterprise apps for the Service industry
