Position: Head Baker
Location: Banjara Hills, Hyderabad
Start Date: September 15th, 2022

Job Brief

Looking for a head baker with 5+ years of experience in a fast paced work environment with a background in Viennoiserie, Pastry and Boulangerie overseeing production for multiple outlets from a centralised kitchen working with a team from diverse backgrounds. The candidate should have a natural flair for mentoring young candidates and the ability to cope with a fast paced, evolving workspace in a startup environment.

Role and Responsibilities

The position of head baker will entail the following responsibilities:

Product development for brands under Aetna Hospitality
Advising management on best industry practices and operating procedures
Rigorously implement SOPs and documentation standards
Oversee production of products for distribution across the city
Ensure quality control at point of production
Update company databases as required with recipes, inventory and track wastage
Oversee dispatch of products from central unit to retail outlets
Assume responsibility for inventory of equipment and materials
Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for staff
Participate in company events and workshops
Perform other duties related to the job role as required from time to time
