GM Commercial

The incumbent will be in charge of the commercial function, Responsible for Business Development to achieve targeted throughput for the ICTT, Market Intelligence and Customer Service.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Commercial & Market Analysis
  • Customer Management
  • Business Development
  • Communication and PR
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Reporting and Performance Statistics
  • Independently pursue Adhoc reporting and new development projects
  • Human Resource Development of commercial staff
  • Interaction and liaison with Customs, Port, and other Govt authorities and trade bodies to streamline processes for the benefit of the trade.
  • Maintain competitor and customer information and analyze business opportunities to target
  • Timely reports based on pre-set frequency to the local Regional and Head Office
  • Project IGTPL’s value added services for attaining more response from agents.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Commercial or Sales functions in a Terminal Company / Shipping Line, / Logistics / Freight Forwarding Company or in Transport Management dept of Major MNC’s, including 7 years in Middle Management/Senior Management positions.
  • Post graduate, MBA desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both in English and Malayalam.
  • Good interpersonal skills, excellent team building capabilities, planning, co-ordination and decision making skills.
