Software Engineer (Reporting Team)

You will have 2+ years experience in web-based software development capable of working across all tiers of the application following Agile methodologies.

Senior opportunities exist for candidates with more experience.

Required Experience And Skills
  • Solid Object Oriented design and development skills
  • Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5; CSS/CSS3; LESS, SASS Javascript: AngularJS, React etc.; Responsive design
  • Experience developing web-based applications using Java and/or Node.js/J2EE, Servlets, JSPs
  • Experience with SQL (Postgres preferred)
  • Experience with Service Oriented Design and Architecture; interest in legacy modernization is a plus
  • Experience with Elasticsearch (not required but preferred)
  • Experience developing applications using Apache Kafka (Not required but preferred)
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure or GCP (Not required but preferred)
Desired Experience And Skills
  • Ability to work well within a group or individually on projects
  • Desire to mentor developers on the team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Agile Development environment
  • Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
  • Design, development, integration, and deployment of responsive web applications
  • Continually improve reliability and scalability of the existing application
  • Support QA Engineers to ensure system quality, functionality and performance
  • Troubleshooting issues across all application tiers
