What will you be doing at Webber?
- Opportunity to design and develop Battery Management Systems, Battery Chargers and Motor Controllers from scratch
- Possible topologies to design, build and Test - Flyback, Buck, Boost, PFC, Interleaved PFC, LLC, PSFB
- Work on EMI/EMC compliance for product reliability
- Identify design failure modes through DFMEA & demonstrate the risk mitigation through design & testing
- Design products that keeps customer interaction with the vehicle at its core
- Carry designs to production of Battery Management System, Motor Controller and Battery Charger
- Make performance, cost and life trade-offs to meet product requirements
- Collaborate with Firmware Team for seamless software integration with the hardware
- Implement optimal solutions using high-performance power conversion processors and peripherals: PWM, Timers, A/D conversion and control algorithms
- Conduct RCA of the field failures & validation failures, and implement corrective & preventive actions
Experience needed:
- Demonstrated successful experience in power electronics within a product design and development environment
- Exposure to DFMEA
- Ability to collaborate and communicate complex electrical engineering concepts
- Experience in the design of Battery Management Systems, Battery chargers, DC-DC converters, Motor Controllers, etc.
- B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/PhD with focus on Power Electronics
