We are seeking aPlumber to join our in-house Property Development Team, as we embark on our next phase of development. The main role of the Property team is to provide construction and maintenance services to the care homes within the group. This will include new development, refurbishment, decoration and general property repairs. Currently there are several refurbishment and new development programmes ongoing within the group and we are seeking to expand our teams with Plumbers. As part of your role, you will be required to work on our On-Call rota, providing basic repairs out of hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • To plan and complete all necessary steps in the installation, maintenance, repair and servicing in water and drain systems
  • 1st and 2nd Fix Plumbing
  • To read and understand plans and drawings
  • To help with a various other trades if required
  • To use initiative whilst carrying out your day to day tasks
  • To measure and order materials
  • To be available for out of hours on-call support for the homes
  • To work in a safe and effective manner at all times
  • To complete all work to a set timescale to keep up to date with deadlines
