We are looking for a Geo-environmental Engineer to join our Strata team. This is a fantastic opportunity for driven and passionate individual, to learn and develop as part of a growing team as part of the Van Elle Group.
Hours: 08:00 till 17:00 Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work
Based: Head Office – Kirkby-in-Ashfield, with National travel as required
About the role
We are looking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Strata Division. Strata is our inhouse geotechnical division, and as a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for key deliverables, ensuring project engineers working under you fulfil contracted duties to our clients. Working alongside and mentoring other staff in Strata, the candidate will provide regular feedback to each engineer and work in close collaboration with other disciplines to deliver the project requirements.
You will split your time between office and site, where you will be involved in geotechnical recommendations, geo-environmental assessments, report writing and ground investigation. As part of this role you will share your knowledge with our engineers and support them in their daily tasks.
