Reports to the General Manager
Directs, implements and maintains a service and management philosophy which insures exceptional customer service and contributes to the financial success of the Abbington. Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Banquet Department, in accordance with Abbington standards, including: leading Banquet Staff, managing Banquet Operations, insuring Excellent Customer Service, and handling Administrative tasks.
Maintains constant contact with kitchen staff to ensure complete effective communication between food production and food service. Maintains constant contact with sales staff to ensure complete effective communication between sales and event service. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banquet/event procedures, products and competition, knowledge of the special event market in the Chicago area, and be constantly aware of current lifestyle and food trends. Work collaboratively and cooperatively with all Abbington departments to coordinate and execute events to ensure the highest quality customer and event services.
