Driver Recruitment Account Manager- Excellent earning potential - Up to £40k p/a - Fantastic Career Progression

Ignition Driver Recruitment are currently seeking a Driver Recruitment Account Manager to join their busy team who are based in our thriving Recruitment Hub in Doncaster. The role will require regular travel to client locations across the Midlands, so applicants must have a full driving licence.All mileage can be claimed back.

We are interested in speaking to people who have demonstrable experience working as a Recruitment Account Manager within the Driving/Logisitcs sector. If you also have Business Development experience, this would be great.

About the role:
This is an extremely varied role, and requires someone with the correct experience and industry knowledge to be able to:
  • Manage & develop an existing team of HGV Drivers
  • Participate and promote all engagement initiativesacross your driver, client and colleague bases
  • Manage multiple accounts under some of our most prestigious clients
  • Implement requests for advertising & attraction using existing Marketing processes
  • Undertake driver onboarding, from pre-screen to registration and on-site inductions
  • Manage the payroll process on a weekly basis
Client Management, Meetings & Reporting:
  • Attend and participate in all client meetings both on-site and using Teams
  • Hold Daily/Weekly briefings with your direct management team
  • Attend weekly departmental meetings at our Head Office (Brighouse)
  • Provide detailed data reporting, covering required Management Information and KPIs
  • Be able to analyse KPI and MI data to identify trends and react accordingly
Please note that whilst this role is mostly managing HGV drivers, there may be some requirements to deal with warehousing flex-employees from time to time also, however for larger Industrial opportunities, our sister company would take responsibility for supply requirements.

Working Hours:
The standard and basic expectation is that the successful applicant would be required to work Monday to Friday, on a 9 to 5 basis, however, seasonedRecruiters understand that this isn't always the case.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Can be flexible when it comes to their working hours
  • Is happy to undertake an on-call duty outside normal working hours (Our on-call facility is provided to all clients, and to ensure a fair work-life balance for all our employees, is assigned on a rota basis)
  • Can commit to working later evenings and some weekends during busier seasonal periods
Role Requirements:
  • Strong IT capabilities (Word, Excel, Outlook training will be given for internal systems)
  • Demonstrable experience in;
    • High volume HGV Driver recruitment
    • Managing driver pools (training, planning, booking, shift allocation etc)
    • Managing client accounts
    • Business development & sales
  • Confidence in communicating with a variety of people, from HGV drivers to General Management
  • A general knowledge of Laws & Legislation relating to:
    • Employment
    • The Working Time Declaration
    • HGV Driver requirements for compliance (Tacho, DCPC etc)
