Quality Assurance Manager
Our client is a leading food and beverage business and as part of continued growth they are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure Food Safety, Quality and Legal compliance for their site in Chepstow.
You will facilitate the achievement of the companys Food Safety and Customer audit requirements. Accountabilities may include but not limited to:1 Ensure that all policy and procedural requirements from Food Standards and Technical Services are met2 Management and performance of QA team members3 Briefing depot teams on updated or new ways of working and new procedures.4 Safe, legal and quality product despatched to depots / customers5 Demonstrable due diligence associated with depot activities including fresh food supplier quality assurance e.g. depots records, testing regimes, supplier certification, training records, corrective action logs6 Diligent inspection and quality management of all stock receipted, stored and dispatched7 Ensure all internal and external food safety or customer audit requirements are met8 Proactively identify and highlight areas of non-compliance to depot management and demonstrate a proactive problem solving approach to resolve any areas of non-compliance.9 Work with the depot management team to identify and review compliance key performance indicators and suggest improvements and efficiencies to better meet business/legal requirements. 10 Monthly completion of departmental KPIs and Period Reviews to site and Technical Services11 Oversee investigation of quality and safety complaints ensuring timely response and corrective action
