Job Description
Requirements: BCom Hons degree in Commerce, finance or equivalent • CFA or CA and additional business qualification an added advantage • At least 5 years’ experience in financial markets • Equity market/stock research analysis experience • FAIS RE 05 Certificate or must be obtained within 6 months of employment Duties: • Conduct in-depth company and industry research within Consumer sector • Stock recommendation with detailed investment thesis. • Detailed presentation of these recommendations to both the sector head as well as the Equities team. • Complete and maintain detailed excel-based evaluation models. • Prepare Investment reports and recommendations to approval committees • Provision of timely commentary – dissemination of real time news-flow. • Taking initiatives in identifying buying or selling opportunities in the fund 2 • Tracking of the portfolio analytics to ensure that all risk parameters are adhered to, always.
