Field Service Engineer

The Role:
We are recruiting a Field Support Engineer to join our team in Sasolburg.

This is a fixed term contract. Please make sure that you are willing to work on a contract opportunity before you apply below.

Role Objective:

Responsible for repairing, troubleshooting and installing hardware of new \ faulty laptops and desktops. 

 

 
Skills and Experience:
Essential Qualification:
Grade 12                                                        
A+                               
N+       
Preferred Qualifications:
Soft skills certificates
ITIL Foundation V3
MCSE or Microsoft Equivalent
Experience required:
1-2 year server, network and desktop support experience.
3 Years practical in-service delivery; desktop support; Network Support.
Key Accountabilities:
Duties/ Responsibilities:
, troubleshooting and installing hardware of new \ faulty laptops and desktops. 
Replace \ Installing of new desktop and laptops.
Windows 10 Software installation, support and troubleshooting of 3rd party applications.
Support Sasol Applications on Android and IOS devices.
To ensure that all open tickets are managed within the SLA. 
To reach efficiency target.

Work Environment:
Office, industrial plant and mine operations environment.   
Physical Demands:
Install and collect laptop/desktop and monitors.
Travel:
Yes â?? Must have own transport and a valid driverâ??s licence.
