Our client is an established operator in the food & beverage market and due to continued growth they are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day operations and compliance of the department to ensure employees are motivated, working safely toward a common goal and maximising productivity.
Accountabilities: Safety, people, service and costs1 Ensure all daily/weekly/monthly KPIs are monitored and achieved / exceeded through utilisation and interpretation of relevant data.2 Manage and coach individuals to perform to their maximum potential through a balanced approach of recognition and managing performance against agreed KPIs.3 Manage all resources including MHE, cages, pallets and shrink wrap.4 Allocate work in a consistent manner in line with individual and team capability to achieve targets.5 Manages and delivers briefings to the team to ensure they are aware of, and adhere to all Company messages, policies and procedures.6 Communicates effectively with individuals at all levels including those on different shifts and in different departments.7 Promote and manage all QHSE and Sustainability standards, focusing on team safety and wellbeing in accordance with the relevant policies. This includes PPE, ops checks, MHE, Contractors, hygiene, temperature checks, pest control, accidents and near misses.8 Conduct quality investigations when required to understand and establish root causes to take corrective and preventative action or escalate where necessary.9 Ensure stock is managed to reduce damage and ensure cost and customer availability KPIs are met.10 Review and implement opportunities for continuous improvement by collaborately working and seeking feedback from own team and related teams.11 Ensuring all existing and new employees are trained to Company standards with all relevant documents completed and submitted.
