Role:- Early Years Assessor
Location:- Across the West Midlands Head Office in Dudley
This is an exciting opportunity for that special person looking to make a long-term commitment to join a local specialist training provider offering high quality training to the Health & Social Care sector. We are looking for a high energy, motivated and inspirational assessor who will work with the Operations Manager, Quality lead & delivery team to deliver a high quality curriculum and ensure an outstanding training experience for all learners.Role and Responsibilities
Build and manage a caseload of learners across various sites
Support the development of learners Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours in line with the assessment plan
Assess learners within their own workplace environments
Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Early Years up to level 5.
Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English up to level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners to develop the identified knowledge, skills and behaviours
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners needs.
Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely assessments / contact, quality paperwork and general administration.
Work to learner review and completion timescales.
To attend and participate in standardisation and training events
Contribute to an annual SAR and support identified Quality Improvement Plans.
To participate in regular professional development
Appropriate professional qualification. (NVQ level 3 or equivalent) in a health or care related discipline
D32/D33/A1 Assessor Awards
Hold or be willing to work towards an Education and Training/ teaching qualification
Understanding of different assessment methods and strategies to support effective learner development
Understanding of safeguarding requirements in a work-based learning environment
To have access to a suitably insured vehicle or a willingness to use college provided transport to travel to different locations as required.
