Director of Events

Delicious London, a dynamic event management and wedding planning boutique agency, who specialise in creative experiences and events are looking for a Director of Events for an initial 3 month contract to cover extended leave.

Based in our Clapham Office - This is an exceptional opportunity for a Director of Events to join a growing company

known for the delivery of innovative global events, from conferences and large corporate parties through to product launches and private chefs, with in-house event management and a strong client base this is an exciting role to step into with Delicious London.

THE ROLE

As Director of Events, you will hold responsibility of overseeing a team and ensuring a high standard of work.

Responsibilities include:

• Management and development of an operational team
• Responsible for the successful management of events ensuring high quality of delivery
• Managing a wide range of different events including high profile global corporate events.
• Building client relationships to ensure client retention and high levels of client satisfaction
• To build supplier relations and manage these accordingly
• Main point of contact for key clients
• Generate new leads and opportunities to pitch, present and propose solutions.
• Lead and produce sales presentations and proposals for pitches.
• Oversee large complex events and client budgets, prepare spreadsheets, costings, etc.
• Achieve targets set for increase and growth

THE CANDIDATE

The candidate must have the experience working on large scale international events and be confident managing delivery from end to end. You will have managed events teams previously and have experience managing and growing key client accounts.

This role could involve some travel, both in the UK and overseas.
