Your Opportunity: .NET Support Engineer

As a .NET Support Engineer, you are responsible for resolving high performance and scalable problems on hand, with respect to the orders that needs to be fulfilled to millions of Walmart customers, root causing the issues proactively or reactively, through automation/utils, etc. This position, reporting to Production Support Manager, will work with Eng./Product/Business & other technical teams / stakeholders in/around the team and various customers across globe in different ecommerce domains.

Your Responsibilities:

  • L2 Support Engineers Should be able to provide L2 support for .NET backend application system components in a massively scalable, high performance, multi-tenant, international eCommerce platform, with an ability to root cause every reactive/proactive production issue.
  • These are some of core tech stack, where the candidate should be comfortable enough to trouble shoot the production issues
  • Kubernetes, Docker Containerization
  • C# and .Net (for debugging the code)
  • Splunk and Graffana (for Dashboards)
  • Log aggregator like Splunk & extensive log analysis
  • Oracle / Cosmos DB / Azure SQL
  • Unix Shell scripting, Perl or Python to build quick utilities
  • Cloud based Infra DevOps role
  • Should be willing to work in 24*7 support model (which means night shift is inevitable). Flexible to accommodate any frequent changes in shift
  • Quick in understanding the overall business function quickly and come up with RCA and should be in a position to explain to Engineering teams
  • Assertive in responding to business-impacting issues & escalate to respective stakeholders for immediate remedy
  • Prior exp in supporting large scale applications and SNOW Incident Management (for tickets) would be a big plus

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline
  • Experience supporting services using .NET technologies
  • In depth knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and database technologies (Oracle, Cassandra)
  • Scripting skills in at least one of the following: Perl, Python, Shell, Bash, or Ruby
  • Hadoop knowledge preferred
  • Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced start-up like environment
