Manager, Software Engineering

Role Purpose Summary:
The role requires working collaboratively across the Technology, Product and Commercial organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals. In this role, you will build strong relationships with global team members and business stakeholders. We are looking for an ambitious, talented, and self-motivated individual, who will serve as a functional leader and help us evolving our next generation platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support hiring, coaching, career building, creating development plans and evaluating performance of team members.
Supervise and coach software team members on technical delivery and support their career growth
Support agile teams in problem-solving, decision-making, and removing barriers so that teams can deliver high-quality software on time
Develop and sustain relationships with global stakeholders to support the team's product development activities
Improve processes using your facilitation and problem-solving skills
Use your desire for personal growth to continuously learn and participate in development opportunities
Advocate for and adhere to software development practices for security, code design, development, test, and release
Collaborate with Architects, Solution Owners and Program Managers to develop a long-term roadmap with achievable estimates ensure Engineering priorities are included in the roadmap
Candidate Educational & Professional Experience Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent degree.
10+ years of software engineering experience.
4+ years of technical team leadership and 2+ years of technical people management experience.
Led team members from multiple software disciplines such as software, DevOps, and software test automation engineers
Utilized data and metrics to identify and solve problems and drive continuous improvement
Become a facilitative leader who can inspire agile scrum teams and drive consensus and decisions
High level of interest in science and learning basic scientific principles
Desire and ability to work on an R&D team that is a multi-disciplinary product development team
Highly motivated team player with a strong desire for continuous learning and broadening knowledge base
Strong written and verbal communications skills
