Technical Skill Requirements : Java, Monitoring tools like (Splunk/Dynatrace/ Quantum metrics/Thousand Eyes) APM tools like (Newrelic/AppDynamics/Blue Triangle)
 
Required Skills


 • Should have 10+ years of experience in software development, technical operations, and running large-scale applications.
• Should have at least 3 years of management experience.
• Should have 5+ years of experience in running shift-based support teams
• Should have very good understanding of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and various IT Service Management (ITSM) tools available in the marketplace
• Should be able to derive patterns for issues in production
• Should be able to come up with governance reports
• Should be able to communicate with different stake holders and drive solutions
• Should have knowledge on application monitoring tools Splunk, Dynatrace, Quantum metrics, Thousand Eyes etc
• should have knowledge on on setting up dashboards using any of the application performance monitoring (APM)tools
• Should be able to define Standard Procedures, SLAs and come up with run books
• Should have experience in maintenance support of e-commerce domain
• Should have thorough knowledge of incident management and should have holistic view of application monitoring setup
• Should have very good understanding of Java
• Excellent communication skills along with experience in managing and motivating high-performance teams and individuals
Roles and Responsibilities
 
• Single point of contact to all stake holders
• Lead and sustain a high-performance team that has skills to support production operations.
• Drive triage calls and be responsible for proper reporting of Incidents and RCAs
• Identify areas of improvement, automation and shift left and implement the same
• Define standard procedures and runbooks for the project
• Drive governance calls
• Come up with different governance and analytical reports
• Analyze performance issue and provide suggestions for tuning
• Should be able to identify and implement different monitoring tools
• Should be able to understand business impact and provide effective communication to stakeholders
• Transform support team to SREs
• Should be able to define and drive accelerators
