We are seeking for a professional and customer-focused Hotel Manager to oversee our hotel operations. In this position, you will direct the day-to-day hotel operations and activities namely :.
i) Reporting to Senior Management and be P&L answerable
ii) Driving sales and revenue,
iii) Budgets monitoring annual Budget setting
iv) Overall to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel functions and
achieve the Sales & Profit target
vi) Oversee Hotel daily operations
vii) Resolve issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies
viii) Increase productivity
ix) Coordinate with external parties including suppliers, travel agencies, and
x) Develop Sales Strategies and Marketing activities., conduct competition
To excel in this job, you must be approachable and detailed-oriented with proven hospitality and management work experience. Our ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
i) Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage or relevant field;
ii) Minimum of 8 years’ experience in hotel management or similar role;
iii) Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and software;
iv) Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills;
v) Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to details;
vi) Strong Analytical & Decision Making Skills.
This hotel is one of the landmarks of Johor Bahru city center. Strategically located within a 5-minute walk of Johor Bahru City Square, CIQ, KTM Museum and Sri Raja Mariamman Temple. Komtaraya and JBCC are also within 10 minutes.
Below the hotel is one of the oldest shopping complex in Johor Bahru. It consists of 3 levels of shops and an office tower. Currently it housed a number of restaurants, beauty saloons, tour agencies and travel coach companies.
