Commercial Bank - Data Analyst

The Data Analyst role within the Client Data Management organization, is a newly created role that will support the Commercial Bank's Data Quality initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for the quality of client data in our source systems, with a primary focus on client record deactivations and mass changes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Execute on key data management functions, with a focus on client record deactivations and mass changes

  • Responsible for managing CDM related inquiries to support our helpdesk initiative

  • Ensuring timely completion of various CDM Data Quality related large projects

Ideal Candidate:

  • Background in Service, KYC, or Credit support and a strong understanding of the Commercial Banking business model

  • The candidate should have a basic understanding of the importance of data, data risks and data controls.

  • Solid project management skills including project planning, time management, organization, influencing, and follow-up skills

  • Able to prioritize issues and multi-task effectively to handle multiple assignments and be proactive in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to think-through and outline work processes in a thoughtful and detailed manner

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with attention to detail

  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Suite applications with an emphasis on Excel

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

  • Expertise with internal J.P. Morgan systems (e.g. Party Central, Customer Assist, iCRD) is required

  • Graduation in any field with minimum 3-5 years of work experience; knowledge of Commercial Banking is a plus

  • Expertise with Commercial Banking client reference and sales data is a plus
