Automation Developer:
The Infotainment Skunkworks group at General Motors is a cutting-edge product development and execution team that is building next-gen Infotainment Systems for GM.
We are looking for an Developer/QA in Detroit, MI with a proven track record of participating with teams developing high quality embedded/AOSP apps. As an integral member of the team, you will write unit test code for the features required for future of our platform. We want your skills as we research and develop products that transform the in-vehicle experience as the world knows it.
Job Description:
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead development of software system team design content and software anomaly corrections.
Performs sophisticated design analysis
Specifies and balances system requirements
Provide, communicate, and support common standard methodologies among software community
Work with Development Leads, Technical Product Owners, and Architects to develop and implement solutions to ambitious problems.
You will be challenged to learn new things, use new technology, and participate in the Infotainment and HMI community
Participate in development within the following areas:
Streaming and Gaming Infotainment
Google Automotive Services
Connectivity (BT, BLE, WiFi)
Do all this in a way that respects teamwork, diversity of opinion, and maintains our core values.
Additional Job Description
Required: Qualifications:
2+ years of building automotive grade software.
Knowledge of C/C++, Python, Kotlin, Android SDK and Java.
Expertise in participating in Agile and crafting testable software and building large scale, sophisticated Android applications.
Experience with Rational Team Concert, GIT, Gerrit and Artifactory
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors in Engineering in related field of study.
5+ years of building automotive grade software.
Expert knowledge of C/C++, Python, Kotlin, Android SDK and Java.
Continuous delivery
A proven track record of being a change agent, leaving every team and process better than you found it

Compensation:
The median level of salary compensation for this role is $113,760-$126,756
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
