Job Description


This role is a fundamental position within the North American CI organization to execute lean transformation and drive business value through CI tools and methodologies across the Mobile facility. The role will drive and sustain focused improvements in performance utilizing lean techniques and thinking.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Executes the transformation standard across mills, supply chain, and business groups as identified by transformation and operational excellence agenda
  • Manages the introduction of tools and processes to support the transformation, as countermeasure to an identified problem
  • Facilitate kaizen events within the organization and provides coaching to others learning kaizen process
  • Supports the strategy deployment process within the Mill to support KCP True North
  • Develops and manages systems and processes to ensure compliance with Plan, Do, Check, and Adjust processes within the Mill, including
  • Provides mechanism to track and report scorecard of Operational Excellence transformation measures through weekly/month accountability
  • Executes focused transformations and operational excellence deployment utilizing an extensive playbook of lean tools and methodology
  • Uses lean MB&C, MS and OS diagnostic tools to identify full potential opportunities and gap closure plans


  • Good working knowledge of LEAN and demonstrated use of its applications

  • Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Personal and systems organizational skills
  • System thinker (ability to understand process flows, etc)
  • Comfortable going to the problem (floor)
  • Ability to engage people and bring them with them

About You

Youre also 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.

Ideally you also have:

  • Bachelors Degree in supply chain, logistics or engineering and/ or other related discipline
