Come be a part of a ground floor opportunity to stand up a new multi-disciplined development team within LM Aeronautics. As one of the largest defense contractors in the world, Lockheed Martin is responsible for developing systems and platforms in many exciting domains. This Systems Engineer will work exciting new programs, designing cutting edge technology into our platforms, and developing new software and hardware components to be integrated into the future F-35, F-16, and ADP mission systems. The ideal candidate for this position would have experience with automation of processes, bring a customer-value focus and exposure to traditional systems engineering approaches. Candidates responsibilities include system architecture and design, verification test plans, internal and external technical reviews, running and witnessing test events, and working with other engineering disciplines to resolve any defects identified.

This position will be located in Louisville, CO
Bachelor of Science from an accredited college in Systems Engineering or other Science or Engineering discipline and a Minimum 2 years combined experience supporting systems engineering or other technical design discipline.
2+ years working on complex systems
1+ years of requirements management
Experience with test design
Experience with system decomposition (using DoDAF, MBSE or similar approach)
Experience working with Agile tools e.g. Jira, Rally, or VersionOne.
Experience with project planning
Experience coordinating, generating material for, and briefing customers in technical forums (especially milestone reviews)
Experience working within hardware, firmware, and/or software teams
