Manufacturing Engineer


Phillips-Medisize has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to work in our Maumelle, Arkansas manufacturing facility leading the development of assembly lines from conceptualization through all stages (equipment procurement, installation, process development and validation of manual and semi-automated lines) ending in clinical builds.
What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Provide technical support/solutions to manufacturing processes and automation equipment
  • Root cause analysis, recovery methods, and preventative solution generation
  • Collaborate with operations team to meet Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and KPI Targets
  • Statistical Data analysis and Performance Metrics trending
  • Assist in training and process audits
  • Implement technical solutions to meet customer and company cost, quality, and delivery expectations
  • Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental and ergonomics efforts
  • Extended travel to other facilities may be required to support business needs
  • Some programs may have vision requirements
  • Create OPWI', Setup work instructions, maintenance technicians, and calibration departments to be able to operate and maintain equipment
  • Travel to vendors, customers or other Phillips-Medisize facilities as needed to support business needs

The Experience You Will Bring
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing engineering and assembly experience
What Will Put You Ahead
  • CAD experience
  • Experience working in an ISO 13485 environment OR other regulated industry
  • Experience communicating with internal and external customers
