Embedded Software Engineer, Scade

Overview
The Software Engineer provides technical expertise, primarily in Scade, to support PADT's customers while also assisting PADT's ANSYS sales team through strategic pre-sales and technical scoping activities utilizing: engineering knowledge, simulation experience, problem solving, enthusiasm, written and verbal communication, and an eagerness to learn.
What you will do
- Work with PADT's customer base to answer technical questions on software utilization and applicability as well as to help identify and implement workarounds for customer problems.
- Support PADTs software sales team by acting as the technical resource throughout the sales process using sales knowledge and technical skills to help move opportunities to the next level
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions using PADT's Customer Relations Management system
- Present PADTs expertise and capabilities to prospects and customers and help grow relationships
- Help identify simulation opportunities with potential customers and match PADTs and ANSYS solutions to customer needs
- Define customer requirements and help determine customer processes and workflows
- Create and present technical product demonstrations to customers and prospects.
- Perform benchmarking with ANSYS tools and collect various performance and accuracy metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Software, Systems or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field required
- 2 years or more Professional experience with embedded systems and controls required
- Ability to code in Python, C++ or similar required
- 1 year or more Experience with ANSYS Scade software preferred
- 1 year or more Experience with requirements such as DO-178C or similar preferred
- 1 year or more Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering, SysML, ModelCenter, functional safety and/ or ANSYS Medini preferred
- Ability to speak English clearly and be understood
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
- MS Office Suite including Teams
