What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

As a member of the CompuCom IT team, you will be managing internal corporate IT infrastructure and infrastructure for critical customer facing services. In this role you'll call on your experience in production assurance, engineering, development and service improvement to deliver secure and highly available infrastructure. As an experienced professional, you'll use your critical thinking skills to establish the team's functional goals and set priorities and objectives that align with organizational business and technical strategy.


As a Linux Administrator, you will provide operational support in the Linux/Unix space for incident management, change management, security, performance, risk and controls, client relationship management, and service improvement through planning, design, implementation and support.


Primary Responsibilities:


Lead Information Technology projects requiring Linux/Unix system and architecture expertise Work directly with Client, Delivery, and IT teams to ensure Information Technology infrastructure solutions meet the program requirements and schedules Perform a multi-disciplined range of technical systems and application activities Design, install, configure, troubleshoot and provide maintenance of systems hardware, software and components Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects Represent the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects and technologies


Who You Are (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Must have no less than 5 years of Linux systems and network administration experience
  • CompTIA Linux+, Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA), LPIC 1, 2, 3 certifications
