This position is an exciting role for a Systems Engineer to apply Digital Engineering (DE) & Model-Based Engineering (MBE) to transform the way the Army develops technology, shares data, and conducts analysis. In this role, a Systems Engineer will assist in the development of digital models that will be used as the basis for defining, evaluating, comparing, and optimizing alternatives and making decisions. The models will span all disciplines across the C4ISR system and will provide a unified representation that enables concurrent engineering and other program activities. These authoritative models will be used to communicate across disciplines, facilitate collaboration, and perform model-driven lifecycle activities. Ultimately, these models will aggregate into a larger DE ecosystem allowing for rapid information exchange and rigorous data analysis. This Digital Engineering effort is part of a strategic shift in Army modernization towards the use of digital tools and models to capture system data, interdependencies, and programmatic readiness.
