What Youll Be Doing:
What Youll Be Doing:
DevOps best practices implementation
Research and implement best practices and tools for DevOps, continuous integration, build automation, deployment automation, and configuration management
Administration of application lifecycle management tools, such as Azure DevOps and GitHub
Participate in the full systems life cycle with solution design, development, implementation, and product support using Scrum and other agile practices
Help design cloud architecture and consult in migrating legacy data centers components into cutting edge cloud solutions
Architect and implement automated processes to increase the efficiency of deployment
Release Management processes
Contribute to application release activity for critical client applications and services
Support change requests to ensure they are compliant with process and requirements
Server setup, configuration, and support
Build, create, migrate, and troubleshoot engineering cohort of servers in a new and existing development, test, and production environments
Work with IT stakeholders to ensure server availability
Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies to automate provisioning, scaling, and optimizing of cloud resources
Actively maintain collaborative team relationships
Assist with tier 2 and 3 support for server and network environment issues
Understand Evolents application architecture to provide support for troubleshooting and application issue resolution
Work with application development teams to make recommendations to enhance the stability, availability, performance, and security of Evolent application assets
Preferred Experience We Look For:
Bachelors degree
2-5 years of experience in the job offered or a related DevOps or engineering position
Problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills
Initiative to look for efficiency gains and process improvements
Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and other automation platforms
Accustomed to a globally dispersed software product organization
Ability to understand application architecture including upstream and downstream data flows
Flexibility - responsibilities may require evening and weekend work
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience with deployment automation, PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
Hands-on experience working in cloud technologies
SQL Server knowledge
Understanding of Release and Project management standards
Experience with Windows and Linux
Experience working with global and remote teams
Previous healthcare industry experience
Familiarity with ticketing solutions such as JIRA and collaboration tools such as Confluence and SharePoint
Technical Requirements:
Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $120,000, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
