Position Summary
We are searching for a Residential/Commercial Production Manager to support our growing team. Your responsibility is to make sure all projects are completed in a timely manner with a high standard of quality and within budget. You must understand budgets, crew productivity, equipment usage, scheduling, and blueprint specifications. You must also understand the aspects of landscape construction including hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and specialized trades such as carpentry, masonry, and plumbing. This role is crucial to the quality, safety, and success of every Franz Witte project. Expectations are to manage total project values of $2,000,000 - $3,000,000.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple jobs at any given time: plan, schedule and coordinate crews, materials, and equipment
Assure the timely documentation of projects (timesheets, delivery receipts, change orders, etc.)
Maintain the companys standard of quality, profitability, and efficiency on every project
Awareness of daily, weekly, and total project budgets
Hire, train, review, promote, or replace Foreman and Crew Members
Complete a peer review of all project estimates and production rates, prior to proposal phase
Coordinate and communicate with Project Managers, Owners, and other traders
Uphold a safe worksite, adhere to company safety program and 100% participation in all company meetings
Attend on-site coordination and scheduling meetings with Project Managers, Owners, and General Contractors
Final walk through with client to close out project
Work 10+ hours a day Monday Friday, some Saturdays as season requires
Winter snow removal
Qualifications
10+ years at Foreman level or similar position
Extensive knowledge of plan reading, landscape grading, softscapes, hardscapes, irrigation, and drainage
Experience operating all fleet equipment: skid steers, trenchers, mini excavators
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
OSHA 10 hour and CPR certifications
Valid drivers license
Compensation & Benefits
Wage DOE: $25 - $30 hourly
