Hatch is seeking applications from experienced Electrical strumentation Designers to assist with an increasing workload, including many new teresting Projects which are leveraging modern design tools.
The successful cte will work as part of a collaborative engineering team based in our Brisbane office, supporting engineering eld an experienced Electrical Designer, you will be required to carry out discipline specific design tasks in accordance with Hatch sts hering to omoting the company's culture lues, specifically its commitment to quality fety.
We are looking for individuals with the demonstrated technical capability to manage digital workflows telligent CAD tools. Excellent communication skills will be essential, as the role requires someone who can effectively coordinate with other designers ltidiscipline engineers to complete their work in a timely ficient manner, in order to successfully achieve Project milestones.
As the successful cte, you will:
Underst the Client requirements e project mission
Setup nfiguration of project design tools
Manage the interfaces with other design environments including 3D modelling efforts
Performing detailed design afting of electrical, instrumentation ntrol systems in accordance with project technical specifications terprise or project procedures
Developing engineering design details ecial items drawings
Using vendor data including drawings, models tasheets to develop the design
Implementing design changes in accordance with Project systematic proved Change Confidential procedures.
You will bring to the role:
Advanced Diploma of Engineering or equivalent E&I preferred
Proven design delling capability perience
Proficient in the use of modern CAD systems
Experience working in multidiscipline project teams
Ability to take instruction rk unsupervised
Good communication terpersonal skills
Practical infrastructure industry or process sector experience
Past experience with BRCM or the use of data centric design tools such as SPi, SPEL, ElecDes or COMOS would be well regarded.
