St Francis De Sales Regional College is a Catholic Co-educational Day and Weekly Boarding School providing a comprehensive education across Years 7-12, for students from Leeton, Narrandera and surrounding rural areas in the Riverina.
We focus on students as individuals and aim to develop their own personal skills through providing a broad curriculum, enriched with many extra-curricular and sporting activities. Your new role:

The classroom teacher is the major in-school influence on student achievement and plays a key role in facilitating effective learning and teaching. The first function of the classroom teacher is to be an effective member of a collaborative team of colleagues who work to put student learning and wellbeing first.

Selection Criteria:

An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education

Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner

An appropriate mix of pedagogical, content and technological knowledge

An informed understanding of the impact of teaching strategies on student learning

A sound knowledge of working with students in differentiating learning to meet the needs of individual students

A thorough knowledge of NESA curriculum documentation, practices and procedures.

An informed understanding of inclusive, learner centred pedagogy

An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture

Prepared to meet the Wagga Wagga diocesan standards to work, teach and lead.
Able to meet current Covid-19 vaccination requirements
Current Working with Children Check
