Network Lead/Manager town the enterprise network and develop the network strategy in a in Melbourne.
The Network Lead/Manager will cover the complete lifecycle of Network platforms at a major company in south- East Melbourne, from architecture & planning, tbuilding and supporting their operation tensure a seamless experience for our stakeholders.
The successful candidate will need thave a broad background in technology & communications that enables them tanalysis, design, develop and deployment network soloution utilising our partner network.
Responsibilities for includ
Developing company's network strategic direction by detailing current & future requirements
Ownership of the enterprise network including SLAs and customer service standards
Manage & coordinate support, maintenance, and project activities within SLA's
Safeguard business critical services by ensuring system are monitored and capacity managed
Protect the environment by supporting patching & vulnerability maintenance schedule
Build, support and manage a network lifecycle plan as part of budgeting program
Manage, develop, and maintain network documentation
Work with partners tsupport our network via outsourced arrangements
Assess vendor solutions and offerings tmeet business requirements and assist in managing vendor performance and technology delivery
Assist with the Onboarding of new products & services that transform the organisation
Able ttake a hands- On approach tnetwork support & configuration
The successful candidate will hav
CCNP level or above qualifications in routing, switching and security
Strong, demonstrable experience in a similar role
Extensive experience in WAN/LAN/WLAN, TCP/IP and network management
Worked with Cisco, Riverbed, PalAlto, F5 and Fortinet technologies
Extensive knowledge and experience of Network Security, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancers, proxies etc.
Experience in the design, configuration, and tuning network security appliances including ASA, AAA, NAC and RADIUS/TACACS
Strong knowledge of network routing and switching protocols particularly, OSPF, BGP, VRF and MPLS, spanning tree and QOS
Strong working knowledge in cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, SAS & UcaaS
Experience with managing stakeholders, SLAs and communication in a timely and professional manner
