At MRM, were looking for a motivated, suitably experienced Inventory Management professional with superb organisational skills and incredible attention to detail to join our Finance team. This role reports to the Supervisor, Warehousing and Logistics and is FIFO from Darwin, working 8 days on, 6 days off, providing a fantastic work-life balance opportunity.
Key responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):
Data analysis and report generation
Escalation of issues such as late supply, stock outs and lack of process compliance that may affect production
Management of annual stock taking requirements
Investigating and reconciling Inventory discrepancies
Driving Inventory optimisation programs in consultation with planning and operational teams
Identify excess and obsolete stock and contribute to planning for its reduction / disposal
The ideal applicant for the role should possess:
Inventory Control experience in a mature organisation in the Mining or other heavy Industries
High demonstrated levels of numeracy, literacy and analytical capability
Previous use of or familiarity with Ellipse and SAP operating systems
Intermediate (or above) MS Office skills (Excel / Powerpoint)
Process improvement and documentation experience
Qualifications in Warehousing / Inventory Management, while not essential, will be well regarded
