About the Role:
Showcase your procurement experience in this full time ongoing role leading a small team and managing the supply and ongoing maintenance of Structural Ensemble (PPC) and other support items issued to our Members.
Working closely with a number of internal and external stakeholders, the Supply Manager will be tasked with:

Managing and coordinating tender processes relating to new or varied clothing and other contracts and agreements
Providing planning input and advice to the Manager Logistics to achieve a best practice' and best value' approach to procurement and supply for CFA
Managing and coordinating the effective procurement, supply, distribution and maintenance of Structural Ensembles and related Personal Protective clothing and support items for CFA members
Manage and monitor inventory control activities in conjunction with Manager State Logistics Centre to ensure appropriate stock levels in line with standards, also monitor member measurement data for trends and supply impacts
Monitor, analyse and report apparel cost and budget performance; identify and analyse variance and forecast future funding requirements

About you:
The person we are looking for will have demonstrated experience and expertise in inventory control, procurement and supplier management along with a strong understanding of procurement, tendering and contract management inclusive of the Victorian State Government Procurement Policies.
Crucial to your success will be your proven ability to lead a team and drive high quality outputs and with continuous improvement focus coupled with excellent decision-making skills that highlight your commercial and business acumen.
Naturally, you will have an exceptional ability to manage effective commercial relationships with suppliers and demonstrate strong consultative and negotiation skills. Whist not essential, a Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain or related field will be highly regarded.
