The English/ HSIE faculty invites applications from teachers who are willing to work hard for the success of the College and its students. The faculty is very supportive and has been very successful in supporting the diverse needs of our students who come from equally diverse cultural backgrounds.
This position is likely to be a full-time (negotiable) position from Term One, 2023.
The successful applicant will be an outstanding, experienced HSIE teacher with superior organisation skills. Knowledge/experience of teaching Studies of Religion/ Modern History/Society and Culture is essential and the ability to teach English is highly desirable.

Some key areas of strength will include:

demonstrate proven self-initiative and the capacity to work independently.

demonstrate successful strategies in dealing with students who come from an EAL/D background

demonstrate competency in integrating the use of ICT skills in teaching

demonstrate the ability to teach junior as well as senior classes

demonstrate the ability to foster positive behaviour within a classroom and inspire a zest for learning in students
