Business Development Representative

We're looking for a skilled and ambitious Business Development Representative to help build engaging relationships with our key Mortgage Broker partners. This role reports to our Partnership and Sales Manager but will have significant interaction with all staff & key stakeholders.

The successful candidate for this role, gets to join a fast-paced, high potential business in its early days. You will get to be part of building a business and driving change in an industry from the day you start!

You will be involved in all aspects of the partnership team, from assisting brokers with product queries, through to supporting them with business enquiries and applications, plus take part in building and testing a new CRM to set up the foundation for a fast growing business.

The job
Identify, engage and nurture a portfolio of Bridgit partners and brokers
Meet agreed company targets, driving applications and originations
Work closely with partnerships manager to identity and build business referrals
Develop mutually beneficial relationships with your partners, providing optimum service and relationship management
Support and onboard brokers through the accreditation and application process
Ability to discuss and workshop scenarios with brokers and the credit team, coming up with beneficial solutions for the client
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to solve any broker queries
Role requirements
Minimum 1-2 year experience in sales, business development, mortgage broking or customer service roles
Experience in financial services is preferred, however not critical
Friendly, energetic, authentic and helpful approach to your work
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, both internally and externally
Strong attention to detail
Someone with a track record of getting it done. Delivery over talk.
An appetite to learn all parts of the process and get your hands dirty to understand in more detail than anyone else
