Recruiter, Airport Operations (L6)
Recruiter, Airport Operations UGE (L6) United Ground Express (UGE), a subsidiary of United Airlines, Inc., is seeking a Recruiter, Airport Operations UGE (L6) to support our field talent acquisition team based at United Airlines Corporate Support Center located at Willis Tower in Chicago, IL. As a Recruiter at United Ground Express, you will work with Talent Acquisition leadership and hiring managers to problem solve, create go-to-market strategies, and define candidate identification strategy for Airport Operations roles across a wide geographic area. You will also work to expand network and prospect pipelines in assigned region by using creative marketing, social media messaging techniques, leveraging referrals, and partnering with local organizations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prospecting and sourcing candidates through ATS, Social Media and Referrals etc.
Extensive phone and email outreach
Developing talent pipelines for future hiring needs
Scheduling candidate interviews and answering applicant inquiries throughout the recruiting process
Tracking and manage applicant flow in the Applicant Tracking System
Posting pipeline and current openings on Applicant Tracking System.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following background, education, and skills:
Minimum high school diploma; Associates Degree preferred.
Proficiency and passion for research and sourcing through direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, name generation research and networking
Excellent written and oral communications skills with varied audiences
Sound judgment, high integrity, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Influential and creative written and verbal communication to develop appealing and tailored messaging to prospects that elicits response and effectively conveys our brand
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management
Able to flex and problem solve to manage competing demands in a fast paced, metric driven environment
Results oriented self-starter with track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic and integrity
Willingness to travel up to 30%
