About the Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

A wide range of professional support, administration, secretarial and clerical duties, including typing, word processing, data entry, maintaining email and computerised records, database information, Google applications, electronic rolls, attendance records, student enrolments, student information and petty cash;
Responding to enquiries from students, parents, employees, and the general public;
Word processing of routine correspondence, including internal and external publications, teacher programs and teaching aids;
Providing assistance in various financial management tasks as required;
Providing support and assistance as required to the students and staff of the College.

About you:

To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of St John Paul II Catholic College along with:

Previous experience in schools - Desirable but not essential
Post-school qualifications in a relevant discipline eg. secretarial, business studies - Essential
Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork.
Outstanding IT skills in the Microsoft and Google platforms
Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
An understanding of and willingness to follow the ethos of a Catholic School and its mission
