Key responsibilities include:
Ensure integrity of specific client inventory held at Schenker Logistics sites nationally.
Identifying and investigation of all stock discrepancies and reporting as required.
Co-ordinate daily cycle counts and wall to wall storage location checks to ensure integrity of client inventory nationally.
Assist with stock takes including scheduling, updating procedures, and reconciliation resources.
Maintains WMS database in terms of parity between systems and report KPI variances.
Recommend changes to systems and procedures to improve the overall inventory accuracy.
Assist the site Inventory teams in conforming to company and site operating procedures.
Monitor and deliver on all relevant inventory KPIs and report to internal stakeholders and the customer
Assist with training of inventory control concepts and methods of measurement and improvement.

Kwalificaties To be eligible for conversion and to apply you must have been placed as an Inventory Clerk in a Schenker QLD Logistics facility regularly and consistently (i.e worked full or close to full time or normal hours Mon-Fri) for the preceding three (3) months as at end of March 2022 and commenced your placement prior to 1 December 2021 and displayed reliability and competency in the role. Ability & willingness to learn
Microsoft Office Applications Intermediate
Lotus notes/Outlook Basic to Intermediate
Familiarity with Highjump WMS highly desirable
General understanding of Business principles where appropriate
General understanding of Logistics/Warehouse Management systems
Knowledge of relevant legislations and authorities which impact on your area of responsibility
Accurate and attentive to detail in all areas of your responsibility
Previous experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Warehouse particularly in the areas of receiving, Dispatch and stock control
General WHS awareness of legislative/Company requirements
