Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a Community Engagement lead to support the recently established Bowel Screening program at Auckland DHB (0.8FTE).

The National Bowel Screening Programme was established at ADHB in December 2020. Working within a new program will provide an exciting and varied opportunity to develop innovative ways to reach our community and boost awareness of the programme.

The Community engagement lead will focus on strategies to promote the programme and subsequently increase participation, particularly for priority populations. We seek someone to hit the ground running with a strong equity focus who can motivate their team and make an impact.
We are a tight-knit team and are looking for someone who can contribute to our culture with strong communication skills and a collaborative style. You will work closely with a wide range of health and community service providers to design, implement, and evaluate strategies to promote the programme
