Diesel Mechanic

Bunbury Trucks are developing under new ownership and management, and with the recent appointment of a new Head Mechanic, they are excited about the year ahead.

A shift towards uplifting staff morale has already led to significant wins, including a recent franchisee bid to sell the HINO truck portfolio alongside its established FUSO brand.

The company is now building its team across sales and technicians to service new clients, while continuing to focus on adding value to existing customers.

As a result, we are currently looking for three Truck Mechanics (or Light Vehicle Mechanics) for our modern busy workshop.

These roles would be suitable for either a car mechanic who wants to move into trucks or someone with proven experience.

Our workshop has a significant capacity of 12 bays, equipped with the latest diagnostic and repair tools
When you are not on the tools, we have a newly built kitchen, changing and shower facility.
Relocation assistance
To be considered for this role, ideally you will:
Have previous experience as a Truck Mechanic
Or come from an alternative auto mechanical field looking for an entry into the truck space
Appropriate trade certification
Experience with Japanese trucks (advantageous)
Background in diesel mechanics
An HR Licence (not essential)
Be a quick thinker
Enjoy problem solving and the discovery of solutions to challenges.
Have a high degree of integrity
Understanding health and safety regulations
