As Technical Sales Manager, you will front the Technical sales portfolio for customers to help establish business growth and market share in the Cultures and Dairy Enzymes industry.
The role will see you providing insights and collaborating with the cross functional teams for present and future customer expectations, to support product development and new product launch in the market.
The role is Gurgaon based and will report to Group Manager, Dairy.
How you will contribute and lead
Accomplishment of Sales Target for North India.
Growth of mind share and revenue share at Key accounts. Actively prospects for growth opportunities to achieve higher share of wallet.
Distributor management to define goals and implementation of plan to achieve & exceed targets.
Create and drive Cultures & Dairy Enzymes related growth opportunities in the region.
Provide first level technical service support and training to customers. This includes delivering presentations at seminars in co-ordination.
Work closely with other internal business vertical to implement growth plan and achieve goal.
Develop business plan for Key Accounts and distributors with strong focus on timely implementation of plans.
Define potential growth opportunity by understanding customer needs & gaps.
Identify untapped opportunities for long term growth - Define & Quantify the same.
Update Market intelligence: Trends, competitor, customer to create new opportunities.
Partner with key internal stakeholders to align & implement strategic plan and drive new initiatives & offering
Cultivate and develop relationships with top management of targeted existing and potential customers to promote IFF as the preferred supplier
Provide timely and accurate monthly reports to effectively measure progress against agreed plans.
What you will need to be successful
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Food/dairy technology or any other relevant discipline.
Atleast 7 years of experience in Technical Services, Sales of food ingredient.
2-3 years of experience working in processing division of Dairy/Food industry.
Experience in fermented milk/cheese industry will be added advantage.
Achieve business growth through distributors.
Ability to connect to people and build strong business relationship
Ability to listen to specific customer/market needs and have the capability to convert customer discomfort to business opportunities.
Well versed with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Ability to act like an owner - drive business opportunities by aligning with all internal stakeholder.
Demonstrated ability to grow business at Key Accounts: Proven Implementation skills.
Flexible approach to realign with the changing needs of organisation as well as customers.
Excellent negotiation and customer relationship management skill.
Demonstrated ability to work in matrix environment with different business leaders and cross functional teams
Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively, at least 60% within North India and Nepal.
