How You Will Spend Your Days

Leading and executing the end to end support / solution for the region
Executing the regional strategy to support HR priorities - Increasing leadership capability, become better in the eyes of our employees and clearly define and communicate our company culture, values and belief
Providing communications support to the company’s operations across APAC
Delivering important corporate messages to APAC employees in a regionally relevant manner
Providing local strategic insight to the corporate communications team
Developing an integrated communications strategy and plan targeting key internal and external stakeholders
Supporting and contributing to corporate communication projects; provide regional input and insight while ensuring consistent messaging
Planning and executing local or regional events and activities, such as media briefings (As applicable)
Serving as communications global point-of-contact for certain assigned departments and functions
Writing and editing press releases, bylined articles, white papers, corporate videos and other materials (Print & online)
Being a source of regional news for global communication channels, including the company’s website, Newsroom and corporate social media channels.
Serving as Visteon Social Media Council and manage regional social media channels in India and the APAC region
Contributing regional content for Visteon CSR reporting
Providing support in preparing presentations and/or speeches for internal and external audiences
Overseeing outside suppliers and agencies, including preparing requests for proposal
Developing and managing budget, including cost tracking
Executing campaigns to target specific audiences, placing an emphasis and discipline on campaign performance to help with recommendations for future programs
Contributing ideas for new programs, researching and recommending innovative branding techniques.
Staying informed of developments in the field of marketing and communications within the industry to foster ideas and innovation

Technical Knowledge and Skills

Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications (Master’s degree preferred)
At least 8 to 12 years of experience in corporate communication field, preferably with a global technology or automotive company, or with an agency supporting such a company
Confident communicator and communications counsellor
Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills, able to show samples of work
Layout and design skills
Proven ability to communicate technical subject matter in an easily understood manner for various audiences
Strong speaker and presenter and influencer
Keen understanding of media and experience dealing with media, including serving as company spokesperson
Experience in providing communications support to company leaders at all levels
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Experience in crisis management
Familiarity with tools to analyse, measure and report on communication effectiveness
Strong knowledge and understanding of current best practices and trends in digital media/social media
Propensity to develop creative solutions to communication challenges
Superior project management and time management skills; ability to work quickly while delivering high quality
Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
Ability to deal with ambiguity
Have Growth mindset
Change Management Certification as PROSCI, KOTTER, etc. and add Cultural Sensitiveness proven credentials
