Eligibility Criteria:


Years of Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience
Educational qualification: B.E/B.Tech (6 yrs) or M.E/M.Tech (4 yrs) in Electrical preferred.

 

Primary Responsibilities:


Propose & implement solutions for Product Quality for build issues, sustaining product performance related problems and field issues (problem reports) and mange priorities
Using material tracking tools highlight critical shortages
Owns design review tasks/Simple sub-system/medium complex CIP/Medium complex parts
Validates designs through prototype/computational modeling to support engineering decisions
Coordinates implementation for Obsolete (OB)/End of Life (EOL) parts and/or FFF(Inter changeability) changes.
Create and release Lam parts with required attributes (Part category, Make or Buy, Criticality & etc.)
Selecting Electrical OEM components (Circuit Breakers, Contactors, Relays, Opto-Coupler, terminal blocks etc.) and materials for Power distribution box / control panel design
Creating electrical schematics for power boxes and system interconnects needed for Problem reports
Creating and releasing engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process
Track all OB PRs and keep updated for correctness and ensure KPI's are met
Propose/contribute to process improvements in their area of operation
Collaborate with peers and stake holders to understand and define cut-in strategy for the change order implementation


Mandatory Skills required to performing the job:


Minimum 4 Years' Experience in Control Panel Electrical Circuit Design / Power distribution boxes & Engineering Change management
Creation of electrical schematic diagram, control panel facility connections & field disconnects
Proficiency in assessing loading, performing SCCR calculations, thermal calculations, wire sizing, busbar designs, fan selection etc.
Proficiency in handling multiple configurations, logic for EMO, LOTO Concept, multiple power inputs
Must have worked on electrical engineering CAD tools like E3 ZUKEN or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation, Form board Flattening for EE documentation is a value addition.
Good understanding of BoM (Bill of Material) structure
Knowledge in Obsolescence process
Structured Investigation, Problem Solving & Decision Making

 

Desirable Skills:


Experience in working with cross-disciplinary teams (including mechanical, electro-mechanical, software, process, manufacturing engineers) for major projects with multi-national work environment
Good understanding of different standards and compliances like – NEC, NFPA 79, UL 508A, IEC standard, SEMI Standard (Electrical) - S2, S8, S22 etc.
Knowledge of NSR (Non-Standard Requests), NPD (New Product Development) processes
Has good communication skills (written & verbal)
Analytical skills and Provides RCCAs for impacted parts/systems issues
