Tech Delivery Specialist

About this Job:

As a IT Provisioning Lead you are responsible for day-to-day operations of all procurement related activities for the Technology Organization. Provisioning department is responsible for executing all the purchases pertaining to the projects & operational requirements related to any Infrastructure, hardware, software & other miscellaneous items.


We are looking for a successful candidate who has proven working experience as a Sr, procurement Analyst, procurement manager or vendor management & able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend.

Manage day-to-day operations of the Technology Procurement Team
Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
Coordinate with preferred vendors to gather quote & analyze price differences
Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
Track & ensure the timely payment to vendors, by coordinating with respective stakeholders including vendors, IT verticals and Finance functions
Ensure the proper execution of IT Procurement functions like vendor registration, Capex/Opex approval, PO submission, invoice processing etc..
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Provide inputs to the strategic IT & procurement decisions, IT budget development etc.
Ensure IT products and services are purchased in the most cost-effective and time-efficient manner
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce IT expense cost and improve the spend effectiveness
Create policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity
Collaborate with the various IT verticals & Business CIOs to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the IT requirements
Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives
Participate in yearly IT budgeting exercise
Participate & provide required inputs for various audits related to IT Procurement
Develop and train procurement team
Assess, manage & mitigate any procurement related risks (cost, delivery etc..)
Minimum 5 to 6 years experience in IT Procurement or vendor management with hands on knowledge using Ariba or similar IT Procurement tools.
Minimum 2 years experience in managing a procurement team
Should have exposure to IT procurement related to (EUC, Servers, Networking, Software, Maintenance & support services)
Strong data analysis, spend analytics skills required with proficient knowledge in using Excel
Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
Should possess good problem solving & decision making skills.
Should be customer obsessed and value on time fulfilment of material and services
