Manager - Hedge Accounting, Advisory and Reporting

In this diverse role you will combine treasury accounting with risk management knowledge to enable the Group to minimize volatility arising from its hedging activities. You will be working within a dynamic finance team that is responsible for the end to end ownership of Month end reporting & analysis, Hedge Accounting, Group Financial Control and transaction support. In this team you will have the opportunity to expand your technical accounting, risk management, financial & regulatory reporting knowledge.
In this role your specific focus will be ensuring that the accounting and financial reporting outcomes are managed at the various reporting levels, with opportunity to provide treasury accounting advisory services to the Group where required.
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Chartered Accountant and have experience in applying accounting standards (particularly AASB9) to solve real problems in an advisory, commercial or financial reporting capacity. A financial services/ Big 4 background and understanding of treasury risk management tools would be advantageous. Having a curious mindset, being risk focused, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills are paramount to success in this position.
