Boral Peppertree Quarry is a modern plant, built and commissioned in 2014. The site make a critical contribution to the ongoing growth of the Sydney metropolitan regions.
Based in Marulan South and reporting to the Quarry Manager, we are looking for an experienced Electrician, whose primary responsibilities will be to supervise maintenance crews and carrying out maintenance on site production facilities and equipment to a high standard to enable optimum production performance and safe operations.
Carrying out breakdown maintenance and repairs
Carrying out scheduled maintenance, tests & inspections of electrical equipment
Supervising mechanical and electrical maintenance crews on a daily basis
Contribute to all crew tasks as necessary to deliver a quality product in a safe environment
Participate in site safety and business improvement initiatives and,
Comply with Boral OH&S policy and ensure our Safety and Environmental standards are met
Take an active role in preventative maintenance of the plant
Liaise with staff and contractor to improve operations and safety
Organise workshops to best practice levels of housing keeping
What are we looking for?
A current NSW Electrician license
Experience in conveyers, crushers and screens
Experience with control circuits and electronic drives
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Computer literacy, Windows, Word, Excel
Passion to learn and continually improve
Commitment to safety, health and quality
Desire and ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Personal drive and initiative
Excellent customer focus
